We Offer the Following Services at No Additional Charge.
During Visitation
We will arrange for a U.S. Flag to be placed inside the casket. This Flag will be presented to the family after the funeral service.
- Special, padded register book, tastefully designed with the veteran in mind.
- Prayer Cards/Memorial Cards displaying the U.S. Flag on one side and the veteran's name and other pertinent information on the other.
- Matching acknowledgement cards.
- Use of a maple flag case to display both the Flag and any Military Medals or Citations the veteran earned.
- If desired, we arrange for a picture of the U.S. Flag to be placed in the death notice appearing in the The Buffalo News.
For the Funeral
Every honorably discharged veteran is entitled to Military Honors. If desired and requested, we will arrange for a full or partial Military Funeral. Whenever possible, this could include: an Honor Guard, Military Pall Bearer, Gun Salute, bugler for the playing of "Taps" (whenever possible), and folding and presentation of the Flag.
If you would prefer just a recording of "Taps" at the cemetery, our staff will be happy to accommodate that.
After the Funeral
- We will assist you in obtaining Veteran's Death Benefits when applicable.
- We will arrange for the veteran's grave marker to be placed on the grave at the cemetery.
- If the veteran had his/her G.I. life insurance in effect, we will assist with filing the claim in order to receive the benefits due.
